Pizza in the Park: From Oven to Blanket
There's a small window every summer when Clapham Common does its best work. The grass fills up, someone's speaker is playing something good, and the only real decision left is what to eat.
Eco has an answer to that, and it's been the same one since 1993. Sourdough pizza, made just off the common on Venn Street, ready in around ten minutes. You scan, you order, you collect, and you're back on your blanket before the ice in your drink has a chance to melt.
No queueing for an hour. No walking miles. Just good pizza, still warm, a two minute stroll from wherever you've set up.
Here's how it works, depending on who you've brought with you.
Il Solo, £14.95 Just for you. Any sourdough pizza and a soft drink. For the days you've claimed a patch of sun and have no intention of sharing.
Per Due, £24.50 Made to share. Any sourdough pizzas, garlic bread or dough bites, and two soft drinks. Fancy something stronger? Upgrade to a Peroni or a spritz for £2 each.
The Group Pack, £48 Feed the whole picnic. Three sourdough pizzas, garlic bread or dough bites, a side salad and four soft drinks. Enough to keep a full blanket happy.
